INSIDE "BOOGIE BOY"

From Mark:

"Boogie Boy" was one of the best scripts I'd ever read, let alone been a part of.

What made it really special is that I was able to work with a lot of my friends.

Craig Hamann, whom I've known for over ten years, wrote and directed it. This was his directing debut and I must say that he was incredible to work with.

One of our co-producers is my manager, Cathryn James (she also manages Craig). She really pushed hard to get this film made and did a great job as a co-producer. Cathryn has been my manager for over a decade, and she's been the most important person in my career.

James Lew, also a long-time friend of mine (as well as a client of Cathryn's), not only acts in the film, but was also our fight choreographer. That guy is so cool.

Karen Shepard is a student of my parents, so we've known each other for a long time and yes, she's also one of Cathryn's clients. We played on the Conan show at Universal Studios together, but this was our first time to be in the same film. It doesn't matter whether Karen is talking or fighting, she's always hot.

Roger Avary and Ash Shah were our executive producers, and the other cast members were Emily Lloyd, Jaimz Woolvett, Frederic Forrest, Traci Lords, and Joan Jett ("I Love Rock and Roll").

I have a lot of faith in this movie. If you get the chance, please check it out.
